Owl Rescue the Owl Forum suggests that when you rescue an owl or bird of prey, DO NOT pass the injured owls or birds of prey to the RSPCA as it is widely reported amongst falconers and owl keepers that the RSPCA have a habbit of putting INJURED owls and birds of prey down. Please find a local Owl Rehab centre or owl rescue centre or Bird of prey rescue centre.

Owl rescue centres are centres run by people that rescue owls, forming an important part of the owl community. If you have found an owl and you are unable to care for it, you could try contacting one of these owl rescue centres. If the owl looks ill or damaged in any way and you are unsure of where your local owl vet is then phone one of these owl rescue centres for advice.

Facts on species of owls, including European Eagle Owls and Bengal Eagle Owls but also the Snowy Owl and Barn Owl, however with over 200 known owl species, I am not going to attempt to write facts on all the owls know, but if you have some facts on owls, feel free to add them to the correct owl species. If your owl species is not listed, but you know some facts on it, feel free to list it with some facts about that species of owl.
