The children's Norfolk hawk walk is designed with young children in mind, Norfolk falconry have 2 kestrels, which weigh approx 8 oz which is an ideal weight for the young child.

Your child will be able to meet the birds of prey at Norfolk falconry and take a kestrel on a gloved fist for a short walk, accompanied by you and an experienced falconer.

The Children's hawk walk will last approx 1 hour and for the ages of 5 - 10 include :

A brief safety instruction on handling birds of prey,

Meeting Harris hawks and owls,

Taking a Kestrel for a short walk and fly,

Gaining a certificate upon completion of the Children's Hawk walk.
